I took the revised GRE this morning. I had spent most of the summer preping for the traditional GRE but ended up signing up for the new test to take advantage of the half-price offer.
Despite not preparing explicitly for the new format I was glad to see they toned down the archaic vocabulary. Math section also seemed more varied than on the older format.
Not thrilled that I have to wait until November for the official scores.

Anyone else taken (or will be taking) the new GRE?

ETS also created the Scholastic Aptitude Test, which alot of students take in their high school years.

GRE is the test typically for Graduate School or Business schools.
