It’s from a ford transit immobiliser tranciever, looks like that item is cracked wondered if I could replace it. It’s got the numbers 226 35k 740 , anyone know what that means?

22 uf tantalum capacitor not 220
226 = 22 x 10 -6 power

Unlikely because 226 is not a standard value

It's also marked for polarity on the silk screen and on the cap.

Lucky!
it’s actually 22x 10^+6 pF =22uF

by your logic 225 would be 220uF (22x 10^-5 F) when it is actually 2.2uF (22 x 10^+5 pF)

Correct. 10+6 pf
Thanks for clearing that up. It wasn't luck, I knew it was a 22uf cap at first glance just screwed up the explanation.
