Thai sex workers, Chinese bribes, and Signal messages
And those Thai sex workers? Their accounts were included in one of SBF’s strategies to unfreeze Alameda funds held on Huobi and OKX. These funds were frozen by Chinese government officials as part of a money laundering investigation.

Ellison alleges that SBF and others elected to send anywhere from $100 million to $150 million to various crypto addresses, believed to be tied to Chinese officials. She called this a bribe earlier in her testimony, a comment stricken from the record by Judge Kaplan. The judge also instructed the jury to disregard this comment.
...
Oh, and we learned that SBF believed he had a 5% chance of becoming president.
Insanity defense?

Sitting on a beanbag chair, Ellison appeared “sunken, slouching,” according to Drappi. After some brief opening words, she relayed to colleagues the crux of the matter: "Alameda borrowed a bunch of money to make illiquid investments,” she said. “We ended up, like, borrowing a bunch of funds from FTX."

Staff members inevitably had questions, including Drappi. He asked Ellison about who else at either Alameda or FTX knew that customer funds were being withdrawn from the exchange, per the audio, which was recorded by Rick Best, an employee who joined Alameda three days earlier. Ellison initially dodged the question, but Drappi pushed back and asked who explicitly knew. “I’m sure this wasn’t, like, a YOLO thing, right?” he added.

This is great coding, for a grifting clown fraudster named SBF.
https://newsletter.mollywhite.net/p/the-fraud-was-in-the-code
Code snippets shown to the jury demonstrated how Nishad Singh wrote some code that would update the insurance fund amount by adding to it the daily trading volume, multiplied by a randomish number around 7,500, and dividing it by a billion, thus making it appear as though the website was referencing a real account balance that was fluctuating as the exchange added funds or withdrew from it to cover losses. In reality, it was all made up.

Everything, and I mean absolutely EVERYTHING, is currently, totally, 110%, manipulated.
At least now it's under "White-Hat" Military-Intelligence control.
When the last of the Banksters publicly goes down,
( the Banksters are already burnt-toast, caput, done, finito ),
and the new Metals-backed Rainbow-Currency is announced,
things will then be cut-loose, and we'll have real Free-Markets back.

So far, I'm sticking with XRP and XLM,
but I wish it wasn't so difficult to get and trade Theta.

The News is just fictional entertainment to distract from
the extensive clean-up efforts currently being undertaken by the US Military.

Watch Israel, and the totally fake WW-3 propaganda BS for announcements.
Israel is the last, ( and biggest ), significant cesspool to be cleaned-up.
There will be no Nukes ever again.

shortbus,
I've made a few mistakes by thinking that certain events were eminent,
I've avoided doing that since then,
but many have come to fruition while You were busy watching TV.

Only 10 people in the World know the exact schedule of events, 8 of them are US Military Generals.
Would You tell your enemies what and when your next move will be ?,
or would You baffle them with BS to cause them to make mistakes and use-up all their resources ?
Tons of overall guidance, and hints, are being dropped constantly,
but You have to know where to look, and
You first have to be humble enough to realize that You don't actually know what's going on.

I've been vetting sources for around 8+years, and none of them are on the TV.

If You can't see that there's all kinds of crazy/insane stuff going on in the World, then I can't help You.

100% of what's on the TV is just a distraction,
and easily 99.99% of what's on the Internet is also just a distraction.

You have to do your own research.
If you'd like some help on where to start your research,
I'd be glad to point You to some excellent sources.

It's because we all really died to 2012, this is a simulation. You're not real, I'm not real and the 10 people in the World that know the exact schedule of events are not real.

People tend to "project" their own reality/beliefs on to the Movie-Screen/Hologram of existence here,
but they tend to think that it's "happening" TO them,
instead of it being created FOR them, and/or, BY them.

We're all here to learn "Life-Lessons", and if You try to avoid the tough Lessons,
they will keep on recurring over and over again until You
figure-out a satisfactory solution where EVERYBODY WINS.

Some people never figure it out, and they wind-up getting another,
or even several, Life "do-overs" until they finally get it right.

There are plenty of distractions along the way.

Binance's Zhao pleads guilty, steps down to settle US illicit finance probe
NEW YORK, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Binance chief Changpeng Zhao stepped down and pleaded guilty to breaking U.S. anti-money laundering laws as part of a $4.3 billion settlement resolving a years-long probe into the world's largest crypto exchange, prosecutors said on Tuesday.

The deal, which will see Zhao personally pay $50 million, was described by prosecutors as one of the largest corporate penalties in U.S. history. It is another blow to the crypto industry that has been beset by investigations and comes on the heels of the recent fraud conviction of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.
Binance broke U.S. anti-money laundering and sanctions laws and failed to report more than 100,000 suspicious transactions with organizations the U.S. described as terrorist groups including Hamas, al Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, authorities said.

The exchange also never reported transactions with websites devoted to selling child sexual abuse materials and was one of the largest recipients of ransomware proceeds, they said.

“Binance made it easy for criminals to move their stolen funds and illicit proceeds on its exchanges,” U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland said on Tuesday. “Binance also did more than just fail to comply with federal law. It pretended to comply.”

Sam Bankman-Fried will now surrender himself for extradition before Bahamian court Monday: Source

A week in a Bahamian jail cell makes federal lockup look like a 5 star hotel suite.

A part of me wants him to stay for a while.
If Bahamas was OK to run your shady business, it should also be OK to sit in their shady prison. Exploring such ico-forums can provide valuable insights and perspectives on navigating the crypto landscape within a regulatory framework similar to the one in the Bahamas
I think that regardless of the nature of the proposed activity, people have a right to due process.

He's just an ACTOR, in a MOVIE,
that is designed to get You mad, and to get You to start asking questions.

I can see that you're new to this realization, because You posted a link to CNBC news.
Television News is 100% Propaganda, sometimes even the Weather-Report is BS.
Start digging. Question everything.

US judge halts government effort to monitor crypto mining energy use
The federal government has said it needs better information about major miners’ power use, but estimates that up to 2.3% of the US’s total electricity demand last year came from just 137 mining facilities. Globally, crypto miners are thought to soak up as much as 1% of all electricity demand, which is the same as the entire country of Australia, with bitcoin mining’s energy use doubling just last year.

This new thirst for electricity risks worsening the climate crisis, campaigners say. In the US, where nearly four in 10 of all bitcoin are now mined, up to 50m tons of carbon dioxide is released each year due to the mining operations, according to RMI, a clean energy thinktank.
In Texas crypto-farms are operating on an independent power grid, so I'm not sure what the feds can do about it.
