Anyone hear from Spinnaker or loosewire lately?

Some of the mods here have been sensitized by a free for all bashing mods several years ago, and Joey stepped in it. I have to be careful with my joking in the future. He was returning my joke (and one of the others took offense). <sigh>
I'll return when Bill Marsden resigns.

So he finally stepped on a wrong toe!?
I think he likes tweaking people. Some amongst us have no sense of humor. He has been personally helpful to me in the past, and I have a self depreciating sense of humor about myself. I will personally cut him slack. I'm not the only moderator here.

Returning to give conditions of your return? And the condition is that a dead-named individual does not return? And he barely ever posted any helpful electronics threads? Wow - what a loss to the site. I think we need to get an official resignation letter from a person that no longer exists. Joey has too much leverage! We can’t move on without him. How did the site survive from his last post until someone pointed out the fact he wasn’t hanging around anymore?

Really? He's a voluntary participant here like the rest of us. He has no more or less 'leverage' than any of us.

Now, instead of ignoring us completely, he's let us know a little about why he's no longer participating. I appreciate the reply. I've stepped away myself at times in the past and can relate to the idea.

Death is only one possible reason. Ask Imhotep.

I hate it when engineers don’t understand higher forms of comedy like sarcasm and irony. Did I say “hate it”? Ha ha ha ha. Thanks Mr Wayne! Too funny. Did you really miss the context clues that I left in that post? Read it again.

I haven’t been around long enough but I can’t see anyone crying because of his absence - hard to even assess what his electronic mastery areas are because any skills he might have are so diluted with BS posts in off topic.

I never said death - I said “dead-naming” and “doesn’t exist”. You may need to read the archives like I do when I see interesting thread titles. but you’ve been around here parts since 2006. Either way, are you referring to the mummy or the chancellor - or do you believe they are one in the same?

I got the sarcasm but the comedy not so much. ;)
The forum will go on without any one of us. Our absence may not even be noticed, and no tears will be shed. Well, as long as the absence is not ... eternal, shall we say.
