I am interested in modeling a few differential equations with electrical circuits. I am much more familiar with this when the underlying equation is just an ordinary differential equation in time.

I would like to be able able to also model differential equations which mot only vary in time but also in space (1D, 2D or 3D). So I would appreciate any suggestions and pointers to some relevant information sources on this subject.
