I had always thought about getting some to experiment with, but never got around to it until a couple years ago. A student was on AAC and needed to construct a D flip flop. I decided to buy a hundred of them to have some on hand. The first circuit I breadboarded was a Schmitt inverter. It's a lot easier than with BJTs.More than 30 years believing it was obsolete!!
Hi,The CD4007 is useful because a complimentary pair is better for getting a signal through noise.
There are a few models out there: RIT and MbreakN and MbreakP. The language related to data sheets leaves the model builder with uncertainty which is in everything anyway. here is a guide.
