Hi guys

Not sure if you guys came across this before, the PIC24FJ128GA610 stop working when over a certain voltage level.

I have tested two different:
  • Chip 1 - stop working when VCC >= 3.25V, start working again if I lower the voltage
  • Chip 2 - stop working when VCC >= 3.40V, start working again if I lower the voltage

Both chip tested on my own PCB, I actually by pass my voltage regular when I tested it. Both chip version is A3. All the VCC and GND got a 1n and 100n by pass cap. and 10uF on the Vcore where is required.

Any thought?

Where are you measuring Vcc?
Can you confirm that your DVM is accurate?
I think my DVM is correct, as the reading is same as my power supply. Unless both reading are wrong, and their offset/error rate are the same as well.
