Hi, can you identify the connection please? A 5V power supply goes into the PCB and the two prongs circled in red provide power, what type of connector is shown in white/biege? Should the biege bit come apart from the white bit and be on the two prongs (ie has it broke).

Yes, with care you may be able to reassemble the beige part to its contacts.

Double check the polarity when reinserting the connector, the PCB is marked +B and -B, the cable Red and Black

Your photos don't sow enough of the connector to be certain but it looks like a JST-XH 2.54mm connector.
