Which is the best and simple design between having a single activity with several fragments OR having several activities?

Sorry; I have not developed anything with a menu yet, but could try to get an example from the so many that come with RFOBasic, only language I know related to Android.

I created a small android application that is able to make a phone call BUT I would like to be able set the call duration, ie the user can specify the duration of call then make the call...

Looks like there's no android developer here...
