Here's a 12 and 1/2 minute video of a guy in California who obviously has way too much time on his hands. And if this property were for sale I'd not want it simply because of all the deconstruction that would be required to turn this back into a nice comfortable place.

I grew up with Buggs Bunny & Road Runner. Violent or not - hell, I loved those cartoons. The crap they have now-a-days - - - geez!

There was a good deal of sexual innuendo in the original BB/RR cartoons, but the stuff I've seen (begrudgingly) had a whole lot more sex in them. As for learning violence when I was a child - didn't happen. My son (oldest of four children) LOVED violent video games. Try as I might - I couldn't keep him away from that stuff - you know, the one where you pull a person's head, neck and spine out of their body? Drive and shoot games - I don't know how he's not in more trouble than he's been in.

He's a father now and has a whole new attitude towards those games. Still plays all the violent ones, but he won't let his girls near them. Pot - kettle - black sort of thing I guess.

There’s an educational value to the violence in cartoons. First, they often violate the laws of physics. A child quickly learns the difference between the cartoon world and the real world. Secondly, they teach the consequences of violence.

Many studies find there is no relationship between cartoon violence (I’m including The Three Stooges) and real world violence.

Common sense dictates minimizing contact to cartoon violence. But bowdlerizing WB cartoons is ridiculous.

Hey they were my first introductions to classical music! And like Wiley C, I learned that messing around with fireworks hurts!
The local classical radio station used to run an annual afternoon of all the WB cartoons with a classical music theme. It was held in an old, clsssical theater in downtown Boston. The kids loved it!

MGM offered free COVID tests during its grand re-opening and allowed players to bet on the results.
“We want people to get tested, sure. But mostly we want them to gamble immediately,” said Diane Duane, head of guest relations.
...
Chuck’s test came up positive. He will be quarantined for 14 days. “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas,” he said. “And I’m staying in Vegas.”

But it wasn’t long before he was able to turn his luck around.
“Now people come up to my room before their test and pay me to sneeze on them,” he said. “Everyone likes a sure thing.”

Mostly I agree. Until my grandson thought he could fly like superman and broke his arm leaping off the arm of the couch.

He, his two brothers and sister all fly now. They got a trampoline for free. And superman is pretty good at doing flips.

And did he learn the difference?
