Yes. Because you never know when someone will board holding a real thermal detonator.

The TSA has reversed its decision to ban the stylized Coke bottles sold at Disney’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge lands.

Earlier this week, reports surfaced that the Transportation Security Administration had banned the souvenir from flights because it looks like an explosive.
...
Travelers who visit the planet of Batuu are permitted to board flights with hand-built lightsabers and astromech droids sold at the Black Spire Outpost.

The TSA’s “What Can I Bring” guide even has a sense of humor about it, saying: “Sadly the technology doesn’t currently exist to create a real lightsaber.

However, you can pack a toy lightsaber in your carry-on or checked bag. May the force be with you. ”

Wildlife officials say feral hogs from Canada encroaching on Montana's northern border are a serious concern for farmers and others.

Daily Inter Lake reported Sunday that the U.S. agriculture department's Wildlife Services division says there have been multiple reports of feral hogs near the border.

An official says eight mature pigs were discovered in Canada directly above Montana's Lincoln County this summer.
We must stop this.

Most states have no season/no limit on feral hogs (or cattle). The Georgia Bulldog was a "catch-dog" used to round up livestock for ear-nocking before fence laws were enacted. Each county courthouse had a brand book listing the registered ear notches for cattle and hogs which were at that time allowed to roam freely. Hence now feral. I used to shoot several every year down in the swamps here. One old boy down here still uses catch dogs to capture hogs and sells them for big$$$$ to game ranches to allow "Dudes" to shoot them.

It's about the same here.

In 2001, state lawmakers reclassified the pigs from livestock to predatory animals, allowing them to be hunted without regulation. Eight years later, the Legislature passed a law requiring landowners to notify state wildlife officials if they see feral swine on their property.

That and some bad-ass Appalachian attitudes that were already PO'd. They didn't lynch people for it but I'm sure it started a lot of arguments that could be nasty. People out of town were generally pretty well spread apart so someone poaching on your land was not taken kindly to.
