analog RGB (VGA) to 24-bit or LVDS

Hello here !

I have to build an analog RGB (VGA) input to LVDS output.
After some hours of search, I was convinced to use a TVP7002 for converting analog RGB to 24-bit parallel, and then use an SN65LVDS93A to convert to LVDS.

Unfortunately, the TVP7002 is NRND ..
And I can't find any simple equivalent.

Does anyone knows how can I replace the TVP7002 ? Or maybe there's an existing analog RGB to LVDS that could do all the magic stuff ?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards.

What is the manufacturing lifetime for this design? If it is for small quantities or a short time span like 1-2 years, NRND should not be a problem. TI sales can give you a timeline for the part.

Also, Analog Devices ADV7202, Maxim MAX1127, Linear Tech LTC2170-2175.

Hi,

Thank you for this answer.
I have over 10k pcs to produce per year, I think it's too dangerous to go with the TVP7002.

As far as I can see, your other suggestions are not good :
- the MAX1127 is a DAC
- the LTC2179 is an "simple" ADC, it does not handle VSYNC and HSYNC signals of VGA ..

Any other idea ?
