I have an RO60 KV115 Lite alternator without a hall model. Using this alternator, I want to design a three-phase full-wave rectifier circuit using a shotkey at 8000 rpm. What will the DC output voltage be, and how do I calculate it? Could you please help me? Technically that's a motor, not an alternator. It will probably work as an alternator but the manufacturer doesn't give enough information, at least as far as I can tell, to answer your questions. Calculating an estimated alternator output is not simple and a little data would go a long way. Maybe the manufacturer has some data on this application.

I'm concerned that you're planning to run it at nearly double the rated rpm.

 

Why not make empirical tests and run it at 8000 and take a reading? It is going to drop with load anyway?
