Hello everybody. My PACE MBT200 desolder station just died on me. It appear's that someone has done some repair work to this unit. I replaced the 4700 microfarad 25volt electrolytic cap, F1 fuse, which was a Bel 7A thru hole fuse.
The R1 resister was burned pretty bad. But I don't know what it is.The one in here now appear's to be a 22ohm,1watt,5% resistor with a light blue body with band's:"RED" "RED" "BLACK" "GOLD" I take that to be a 22ohm 5% 1watt.
Any replacement I install immediately burn's up. I for the life of me can't find ant short's anywhere.
All the componant's test O. K. All the resister's(except R1) are O. K., the Triac's are O. K., the LM324 IS O. K.,ceramic cap's are O. K. There is even voltage thru out the board. If any one know's about these MBT200 unit'a or where I can find a schematic, would be gretly appreciated. Thank you very much.
