Got here after you really slowed down in posting but let me send out a Semper Fi. :)

Ron
He did some LTspice Chip Models, one of which help me work out a circuit design for a plasma speaker. The circuit in question came from the internet, I thought it was bogus because I couldn’t make it work, however there was some things I needed to work out, I finally got the LTspice model to work reasonably well, and then did it in the real world. I was ecstatic fun project, couldn’t have done it without him.

Here we are weekend after Thanksgiving. Basically I was home alone who is a Turkey TV dinner. Trying not to get under the weather, with so so success. My last project is driving me nuts. Seems like one step forward and two steps backward every stinking time.

Some projects are like that. And sometimes explaining it to a competent friend will suddenly reveal an insight that provides the needed path. And sometimes it does not. But it is usually worth the effort to try it. At least that has been my experience.

You are not alone. I spent my Thanksgiving the same way. On the bright side I am able to concentrate for long periods without being interrupted, unlike when somebody is here running the television and a telephone at the same time etc.

This is my first post on this thread of 2022, I have learned how to transfer from my chair to bed, and have modified my bathroom where I can use the toilet without assistance. I can also use the sink and brush my teeth. I am stuck in a major rut. Sundays I wash the dishes in the dishwasher, and do other chores like laundry. Weekdays I eat basically the same thing morning and lunch, make sure I my bills are all paid during the week. Make appointments at the doctors when needed. I can transfer to my powered wheelchair after dressing myself and getting ready. Saturdays I allow myself the luxury of taking a few drinks. I have found I like Cognac and Brandy, but I really like Crown Royal. With a lot of help from my friends I can do various projects like installing lights in my closet, Alexa has become a major asset. It helps me with things I would need to remember using reminders. In a couple of weeks there is a very good chance I will have a 3D printer setup and running in my home. I have turned my son's old bedroom into a workshop which I am still setting up. Given time and patience I am accomplishing a lot more than I ever thought I would.

Just wishing all of you who read this lame blog ( for that's what this is) a very happy new year, I will keep posting to this blog and publishing projects as I get them done. As always I am on all open suggestions for projects that others might find interesting.

A good friend of mine assembled an Ender 3 3D printer for me, my electronics projects have come to a temporary halt while I learn the in's and outs of this printer. I will probably never buy a project box again. The number of .STL files I will post on the completed projects index will definitely skyrocket as a result.
