We a lot of members who should consider pursueing
a law degree to go along with your electronics
career. In this new world It would a big plus for
job security. Your career would be more secure
with law on your resume, advanage home office.
Hang your shingle any where, lobby for your business
sector. Can we hear any pro or cons on this subject.
Navigate world trade,Imports and exports. It would open
doors that you should think about now.If you have some
college, five years go by fast.Maybe sit in and online,
any opinions or knowledge on this lets hear from you.
You may Inspire another member that is waiting for that next
hi-tech job, that want have any benefits.Business law takes less time.

Good advice.

I do not have a degree in law, but being overseas, I do have to go through lots of law related issues & business, and yes it really helps to have a good knowledge of the law, especially when one is not at home.

I don't know if I could lower myself to becoming either a lawyer or a politician.

Just a couple of weeks ago on a local radio call-in program....

1st caller: "Our congressmen spend money like drunken sailors....."

2nd caller, a few minutes later: "Speaking as a drunken sailor, I resent being compared to a congressman!"

Sorta says it all. :D

Nanophotonics,you would learn treatys,pacts,conventions,and much
greater list of ways and means. Your letters would not be on the bottom
of the pile. You could e-mail appeals to your letter, and there a lot legal
langage that make things works. There are laws that tie counties together.
Good luck If you decide to pursue a better career.Guys Its going to be five
years before things get better. You can go to your Work force Office, they
have bank of computer to look for jobs. But If you ask for special career unit,
they will not tell you about It you will have ask. They have special process to
guide you to a high paying position. This come under retraining employment
laws. You can't do this on home computer.Do your homework If you need
employment.Another thing If you have college you will have better chance
for good position.

It's my experience that being an engineer one also needs to have certain knowledge of other fields such as finance or law. It helps a lot with techno-commercial nitty-gritties whenever something gets stuck up due to legal or financial problems.
Cheers! :)
