i recently bought a chinese 15W laser from ebay that i wanted to add to my cnc mill. The diode arrived with a controller board, which confuses me alot. Im running my cnc with a geckodrive g540, using mach3.
I found some wiring instructions for the geckodrive on jtechphotonics.(https://jtechphotonics.com/?page_id=2501) i am using a second relay 12v power supply, since the one for the motors runs on 48v.
I attached a photo of the controller board, i tried to connect the + with the + from the 12v power supply, and the - with the 5th pin from the g540. unfortunately nothing happens when i try to run it via mach3. i checked the ports and pins configuration several times, it shouldnt be a software issue. Can maybe somebody help me with the wiring?
