active rectifier (need help)

Does anyone know what is an active rectifier? I need some more information about it. Ill use it in my project.

?? That sounds like you want POWER at the output, not a signal (information, not power). You need to specify.

And if you're talking about rectifying mains power, this thread will soon be locked.

thats right, I mean the power signal (not information). I need to know more about the active rectifier, and what is the input and output signals of this rectifier.

This is still wonderfully vague. Could you please take the time to look at the links provided and tell us what it is you are interested in doing?

You will have very little luck using any 'ideal diode' as a power rectifier, unless you like destroying innocent circuits.

Look into IGBT devices used in DC conversion schemes.

Also google SCR's as they may serve your purposes better with high voltage AC and rectification
