Thank you. I should have noticed earlier. If I am not mistaken, the blogs will need to pass through a moderation que before being visible to others, right?
Note that the blogging features on AAC are rather poor -- and they've gotten worse as XenForo as "upgraded" their platform. So be prepared for a lot of frustration. It's a shame, because there's a lot of potential for some really strong blog content on a site like this.

Who maintains the website?
EETech, but that's really not the right question, beyond their choice to continue using XenForo.

The blogs are a feature of the XenForo forum software, so the situation is akin to not liking some feature of Word.

Having said that, XenForo uses a "source-included" license model, which allows licensees to modify the code so suit their needs. But doing so is not trivial and requires someone with the time, skill, and willingness to do so. Some sysadmins will make changes and enhancements around the periphery, but few are going to dig in and make major modifications to core functionality like the blogs. But most sysadmins are simply going to install the software and, after configuring it for their organization, leave it as much out-of-the-box as they can. They have other, higher-priority tasks to maintain the site.
