A488 driver with Mosfet Full bridge

I bought A4988 driver like this. It works. Can I connect this driver with a mosfet full bridge?

What I think.......

I think I need to power A4988 at 5V, so to drive logic-level mosfets. And I also should use gate-resistors for every mosfet (calculated by gate-resistor calculators available online).

Is it all possible or helpful to drive motor at higher than 2A via driving mosfet full-brdge with A4988 driver?

Please guide me about any possibility.
