Your assumption is correct. The standards will obviously depend on what the product is and which country it will be sold/used in. Warranty and Public Liability will also need to be considered.

 

I think you need a software for compliance management. Find the details online. Different vendors sometimes offer different specs but the same software. Perhaps you can compare which suits you best.

 

We got a GMP compliance management software last May and we're slowly adapting to it and incorporating it into our processes. I really like it because it has all the functions we need like risk management, corrective action, document control and more.
