It must be time to get more funding for their Simulations. It's at least, 10 years away, maybe forever for a real, practicable device. A billion times zero is still zero.

Since the ignition of the p–11B reaction is much more difficult than the D-T reaction studied in most fusion programs

It looks like you will need EM field strength from the laser pulses so high that vacuum become nonlinear (Schwinger limit) for this avalanche effect to happen.
