The lithium battery packs for my weed trimmer died too soon. Replacing the cells felt iffy. Buying new at inflated prices did not convince. Having a dozen of battery packs of another brand tools, made an adapter.

Disemboweled the bad cells from its original pack case (black), wired a kids toy connector (yellow) to the now-empty case and joined. Much longer duration and seems better brand pack. The same 'marriage' can be done for other brands. Am happy.
