I'm testing a 18650 LI-ION RECHARGEABLE BATTERY, that gets written on it "9900mAh 3.7v", for a low power sensor project.
My question is what am i doing wrong cause I only can get around 800mAh out of it.
The only element that I can not put in sleeping mode is a PIR (3mA => 800/3 ~ 11 days autonomy at most)
Surely I'm mistaken. What does really means 9900mAh?

There are several youtube video's showing that a 9800 or 10000 mAh was actually 10 times out..

The best overall 18650 was LG 2700mAh by a mile..

The UltraFire 9800 was tested at 980mAh.. So they were actually labeled incorrectly.. I suspect for sales purposes...

thank you Ian. I'll try that LG you say. That would give me one month autonomy. I suppose.
