Do you know how can I explain the circuit we just built in detail. I want to explain the four timers separately ( U1, U2, U3, U4) and what each one is doing with the capacitors, and resistors attached to it. Can you help me explain the circuit so I can explain it to my professor.

Did you look at that data sheet on post #24? That is the block components.

If you look at my 555 experiments you can find examples and explinations for the various configurations in my Theory of Operation.

 

I am trying to run it on multisim basically. The circuit you gave when I check the output with a probe at the end of U4 it gives me 0 volts and a lot of other areas too its doing the same thing. I just want to show that pulse train we talked about in a simulation.

 

Why dont you give it a shot on another simulation program?

 

I dont really know any other simulation program!
