To start I am no electronics genius so here is my issue. I have a 555 timer running 7 LEDs and is connected in with LEDs that are on constantly in a model kit I am building. It is a 12 volt 1amp power supply. Main lighting is a light strip and various 5mm LEDs. When I turn on the power the entire lighting blinks along with the LED flashers. Some lights are suppose to flash the others are not but the whole thing flashes.
The model I am working on is a 350 scale NX-01 model of the Enterprise. So it is a big model.

 

We cannot give a good response from your somewhat vague description.
Pleas post a complete schematic (not a wiring diagram) of what you have.
