I noticed that the tread has been (solved). Have you made some modifications to the original circuit?

I've just replaced the bleed resistor with the diode as suggested in post#26 to my existing schematic

 

Is this an actual working circuit or are you still in the design phase?

The delay circuit of IC2 doesn't look correct. The way it is shown above I don't see how the delay will be adjustable. See post #22.

ah yes just noticed the TRE/TRI and shorted to the negative of the Cap and the wiper of R7 is connected to gnd.
