Inasmuch as I have been (intermittently) receiving the 'titular' message only during AAC login attempts -- I assume the difficulty is not local to my network?...

I've discovered a foolproof method for avoiding AAC login error messages: just don't log out.

Most times a refresh of the page is enough.
I also noticed that the forum is sometimes very slow.

My security requires that I 'crumble cookies', as it were -- Though I suppose, instead of closing the browser, I could leave a minimized window active...

I also clear my history and cookies, as the pc can be used by other users (and I have admin rights).
I almost never have problems loging in.

Thanks for your response! --- FWIW sporadic slowdowns have been especially dramatic this afternoon... (i.e. since ≈ 17:00 UTC)

Then we will need to have @jrap to have a look at the serverlogs.
Perhaps he can see where the slowdown is coming from.

FWIW - Present difficulties aside -- when I experience login difficulty same generally present as failure of the "Successfully Logged In Screen" to proceed to the homepage -- No big deal 'tho
