48V to 24V DC-DC connector question

Depending upon the Circuit that You are planning to Power,
a Fixed-Output-Buck-Regulator may not be the best choice.

It's not clear from your post exactly what You are attempting to achieve,
so please provide a Schematic-Diagram, and as many details as possible,
or at the very least, a Block-Diagram with explanations and Power requirements.

Why not look out for the Wall-Wart kind of solution, often can be picked up cheap.
e.g. for store bought, there is an example on Amazon for ~$20.00

So you have a mains to 48V power supply, and a 24V to 15V DC-DC converter?
Do you need a 24V supply? If not replace the 24V to 15V converter by a 48V to 15V converter.
