Hi all

I am repairing a Samsung Galaxy Tab3. The charging port needed replacing, so I replaced the whole micro-USB port and flat ribbon assembly. Sadly in the process, the 44way ZIF socket on the PCB was damaged - some of the plastic crumbled away. I have an smd soldering iron and SMD experience.

Please can anyone suggest where I might find one of these connectors? It seems rather elusive.

Thanks - that's similar, but I don't think it is quite the same. On mine, the black section lifts up and the light section acts as a non-moving guide for the ribbon. Hope that's clear?
