Hi.
Have this setup
The voltages sometimes gets to high. like 29-30v or even up to 32VDC
This is to much for my inverter to 230V to handle,.that is connected to 24v DC

Any way i can prevent this ?
An voltage regulator that cuts out the converter box at 28,5 V ?

There is a allready charge controller . But peak is not 100% safe most charger is 95-98% effeCtive on peak.

 

Sounds like you need a mosfet dumper, set the preset to trip at 28V, (should be around 15.3K,) put the Mosfet on a heatsink.

 

Sounds ok. But the mosfet can only handle 30 A on fully charge i have 40 A ???

Have now maked this , but it doesnt seem to work,
Have been going thrue the circuit and found that 1k5 Resitor marked on schematic, was not conneted.
Would this prevent the ciruit from working ?

Reason for asking is that i have to send the board 300 km, for test.

Yes, it turns on the mosfet, so if it's not there the mosfet won't conduct.
