So I've been asked to wire 7no. 24v dc motors. For switching a light load
My question is if I wire between them and have one switching line back can these all be switched to operate the same time?

Are you asking if it is ok to wire 7 identical motors in parallel and use just one switch to control them?

That's exactly what I'm going to be doing.a parallel connection for all piston motors. I'm just making sure it's completely possible using a 24v transformer and a relay for switching.

well as long as your relay contacts will take the current and voltage it will work.

 

I couldn't see the current rating on the spec sheet, But if switching all simultaneously I would use one of the DC rated power relays by P&B/Tyco PRD series that have magnetic blow out for arc suppression when using DC.

What is your application? How close together must the actuators be?
I've used linear actuators before, and the speed-vs-load is not too well regulated.
For that matter, the absolute speed is not specified too strictly... the datasheet says:

 

They are about 500mm apart. There are 8 different banks of them each bank will have between 5 and 7 actuators
