I am looking for a schematic that any one made.
I need to convert 24V to 12V at around 10A, output.
A DC to DC converter will suffice, cause space limitation is there. Isolation is not needed.
OK ! Me found one on a Zech site.
I can translate all of the writings except one confusion.
The caps say like 22nf, keram.
I am guessing it is 22nf, ceram. As in ceramic.
And like to clear one more issue.
How to figure out the wire thickness of the inductors.
It says 70uH/10A. I guess from this one needs a formula to figure out the wire gauge.
Any Pointers ?
Yes, keram means ceramic cap.
I think the author expects to buy an inductor that has the required inductance and can withstand the current. The rule of thumb for the wire is approximately 3A/mm2, so for 10A continuous you need roughly 3-4 mm2 wire, preferably multiple strands (both easier to wind and lower losses at high frequency).
The saturation current of the inductor should be at least 12A.
