Hello,

I recently bought an AC motor to repurpose for a school project of mine, but because of the age and rarity of this part, I was not able to find any wiring diagrams. The connector has a total of 6 pins, to which there are a total of 8 wires connected.

1- Blue & White/Blue
2- Black & White/Black
3- Green
4- White/Green
5- Orange
6- White/Orange

Thank you!

Single phase 2 speed motor, the RPM indicates it is a fractional Synchronous motor, I may have some info I can dig up on it, no promises, do you have the 4μf capacitor mentioned?
Can you measure the continuity between the terminals?
Max.

I do not, but I could always swing by my local electronics store to pick one up. Is there a specific kind that I should be looking for? Thanks for your help!

You could also go to your local rewind shop and purchase a Motor Run AC rated capacitor, or some on line suppliers also sell them.
