I have tried the bootloaders from microchip (cdc , HID) and all which is available for usb , the bootloader is burnt with programmer from kitsrus using their microburn software , and I am using demoboard from

The normal Led blink codes are working but the ones related to usb are not ok . when i connect to pc it says usb device not recognized and in the driver tab , the VID and PID are 0000 , VUSB is connected with 440nF and I am using 20MHZ crystal.

They also supply on that page PIC code and PC C++ code and it definitely works coz I have made one. Once you get that LED flashing then you can expand on that to make the PIC do anything you want.

 

I am using the firmware supplied with microchip , should i compile the source and make the hex myself ? , i have tried all the methods known for me to make the board to work with no success
