I don't understand the technical data sheet of Abracon 1575MHz GPS Ceramic Chip Antenna ACAG0301-1575-T. What's the orange/yellow Layout picture and where to position the antenna on it ?!? I assume the yellow area is non copper area.

 

In the next section of the datasheet is a figure showing the test setup.

 

Thank you, but still I don't understand how is the left part of the antenna attached to the feeder line. It looks like it's shortcutting the copper ground area with the feeder line area see the rectanle contact areas on both ends of the antenna.

 

That data sheet is inadequate. I think you need to contact the manufacturer.
