Please I need a diagram to follow on how to make a 12 to13 volt ups device of 1.5 to two Ampere as current to carry a load of 12volt please..

What is the voltage tolerance of the device/circuit being powered?

We usually specify current draw as a load, not the supply voltage.

  1. What is the power supply voltage that normally powers the device?
  2. What battery chemistry do you have in mind?
  3. What runtime to you want?
* Is 12 volt that normally power the device.
* I'm planning of using lead acid battery of 12volt but if there is any other that will be More suitable for it you can as well let me know please..
* I don't really understand runtime you meant please.. and thanks for you showing concern..

Batteries do not maintain a constant voltage they discharge. From the fully charged condition to the point where the voltage of the battery can no longer sustain the operation of the system is the runtime. It depends on the current you draw.

You need to check your device to see if it will operate below 12V. A fully charged lead acid battery will be around 12.6V, but it'll drop below around 10.5V before it's depleted.

If you really need a minimum of 12V, you're going to need a large battery.
