Hello Community, i want to understand the internals of this circuit which are illustrated in this graph (ignore the red curve), i would like to know how the turn off of the thyristor happens
Hello, I'm trying to simulate an AC/DC converter for a class project. Now, this was an assigned circuit there isn't much I can do about the design. There's on component that I can't quite figure out.
as far as I researched I understand that it is a sort of bidirectional thyristor but don't...
Hello
I have this problem as mentioned in the subject, which happens when I connect the transformer to a " 3-phase full wave controlled bridge rectifier ".
I have a fully controlled bridge rectifier board of (TYN812RG) thyristors, and I want to trigger it through some firing board which I am...
Could one make a 10 watt, Mhz-fast thyristor? Using a couple mosfets?

Hello, I have been making circuits as a hobby for 2 years now mainly focusing on trying to make a coil gun, and tried and failed 7 times now, and I am in desperate need of help with the circuit, if you see anything wrong with my diagram please respond as soon as possible.
I bought most of the...

Hello,
Found this circuit board from an 1980s old humidity controlled chamber. This definitely looks like a temperature regulator of some sort. It has a M logo which means made by Motorola. It has the labels E03G-3-9 and 8739. Does anyone have any info on what this part is?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
I plan to design a series RLC discharge circuit as shown:
Taking into account component parasitics, the actual circuit resembles the following:
where:
'R' = capacitor ESR + load resistance + inductor ESR,
'L' = capacitor ESL + load inductance ≈ load inductance
According to online...
