Hey, I am working on a counter that counts using a "switch". The switch is really a photoresistor. For instance, when the light beam is blocked, resistance increases, when the light beam hits the photoresistor it counts 0.5. Clearly, one can see that I am planning to time in intervals of 0.5 to 99. I found a circuit diagram :http://www.aaroncake.net/circuits/counter.asp?showcomments=all

I was wondering if this would work. And how do i add two more LED displays, so that it counts.

Please if anyone can help it would be great!

Hello,

The first counter can be a 2-divider, it decodes to 0 or 5.
Then 2 decades of 0 to 9. like the ones on the site you named.
