LinkedinI have built this 5 channel light organ, and I have noticed the lights on the diferent channels are flashing not always with sync to the sound, so I've connected to the circuit with a seperate amp so i can "listened" to what each channel's audio sounds like.
I found that
1. the filtering is very subtle - and i'd like to make it a better bandpass filter
2. the when the Triac's are switching the lights (on other channels) they produce "clicks" - and so I'm wondering do I need to use a zero crossing opto chip, and/or put a snubber on the Triacs ?
I would sooo appreciate your help.
I am creating an art instalation like nothing I'd ever seen and it really works - I'll put up a video of this light organ implementation once I upgrade the circuit.
