My name is John R. Fairchild CMS and I am wanting to construct a tuned tank circuit that can be tuned in the range of 5.3 to 5.7 Mhz. It will be used, attached to a horizontal 1/4 wave antenna, to excite the ions in the ionosphere and recieve back a similar frequency signal. This is an attempt to recreate the prior works of Dr T Henry Moray as written about by his son. He is said to have developed over time circuitry able to pull up to 50 Kilowatts or more of usable electric power from the ionosphere. I'm looking for the right combination of components to build this circuit at a reasonable cost for my proof of concept prototype to demonstrate the basic principles involved with the intent to increase the power output to commercially usable power levels using some improvements as I go to eventually get 500 Kilowatts or more. It could be either stored in either super capacitor banks, battery banks, or some combination of them to be able to drive a utility synced inverter to put out 60 cycle power. I intend on using a diode bridge to tap the power off of the peaks of the tuned tank circuit oscillations.
