Hello All,

Please can someone check my answer and correct me along the way if I am making any mistakes and please teach me an easier method if I am doing something not correct.

Hello there,

Just one question here.

In part of your solution:
4*(0.5)^n

are you allowed to state it that way or do you have to include the u[n] part too as in:
(4*(0.5)^n)*u[n]

or do you have a similar worked example already?

The idea is that the u[n] limits the 4*0.5^n to only positive values and then it converges.

The partial fraction part of your solution looks very good BTW.

Hello Sir. Thank you. Yes you are correct. I was to add the u [n]
This is want beats me I tend to forget some parts of the function or swap the variables in the formulas.

Hi,

Believe me, you're not the only one. I am lucky i remember what to look up when i dont remember something :)

I still cant remember a solution to an ellipse where with quite a bit of manipulation of the equation we reduce it into a different equation with only one variable. Just cant remember 20 years back :)
