Hello

I need some help related to this equipment.
First the equipment is a Yaskawa VFD model CIMR-G5C4022 - 37KVA 48A.
It starts working fine but when is necessary to increase the engine torque he continues to work fine then a few minutes later , the engine starts to stall and stops.

The three Fuji IGBT'S are new, the two power capacitors are ok. The capacitance is ok and the ESR is ok too.

Can someone please advise.

Best Regards

What do you see on the display?
If any change, what is indicated?
Has it done this from day 1?
Maybe change the display to Current, and see if what happens to that.

Hello,

The VFD is now alarming " OL3 ": OVER TORQUE.
This vfd is part of a machine that is used to cut stone blocks.
She does one, two and sometimes more complete cuts and then stops, and on the machine console appears torque error, and on the vfd display the OL3 over torque 1 appears.
It is possible to be a motor problem. its a 19 years old motor, maybe a motor winding problem starting up.
please help.

Best regards ,

DS

Hello again Max,

I've tested the VFD and motor without load and is ok. Then we install the cutting disk that weights almost 18 Kg, and start working with the disk without cutting ( no load ), and is ok too.

I meant has it worked at its normal task under load for any extensive length of time, and this is something that has just occurred during the normal process?
