In my endless musical explorations I recently discovered a Russian and Ukrainian group, Leonid (Vorobyev) & Friends, that covers classic American groups such as Chicago and Earth, Wind and Fire so perfectly that it's worth sharing. I created a playlist of my favorites for your convenience but of course there are more videos on the group's channel if you care to look.

Sounds very, very close to the real thing. In fact, it looks like lip sync in a few sections. Are you sure they are imitating Chicago or are they more like Milli-Vanilli?

If you can't tell they're real singers, I can't help you. There are some live performances on their YouTube channel that lack some of the polish of the studio recordings as is typical with all groups.

This should help you decide if they are real singers.

I know. I've read their résumé information on the group website. There's some serious talent and experience there, almost like a supergroup.

The song you embedded is "This is Rus", an ode to homeland, not an anthem, somewhat analogous to "America the Beautiful" for the U.S. I'm sure you highlighted it because it's sung A capella.

Sometimes in videos the audio doesn't synchronize exactly with the video which leads some people to baseless suspicion.
