That's like saying you don't know how gravity works, you don't need to understand it to fall down. Just study electronics and it will be explained how an electronic circuit can be designed to transmit or receive electromagnetic waves.
To get an electron to go from point A to point B, all you need is a good vacuum and a potential difference such that point A is negative with respect to B. Heat point A to shake electrons loose, and they will head for point B.
This has nothing to do with the propagation of radio.
