Show wrong size: 10GB instead of 16GB

I have installed programs.
WinSxS folder is the largest.

I tried to delete files in this folder but can not be deleted.

 

Could be a virus.

Do you have multiple partitions on the hard drive? That is, do you have a C: drive and a D: drive? Have you checked in Disk Mansget? Some systems come with a recovery partition, which reduces the total available space for your system drive.

Have you run the included Windows Disk Cleanup Tool?

When you are deleting files, do you bypass the Recycle Bin and delete them permanently? If not, you will not recover any space. Hold the shift key down when you click on delete. Empty the Rrcycle Bin if there is anything there.

Do you have multiple copies of Windows? Windows may leave a copy when upgrading. Do you have old Windows Update files? Do you have old memory dumps? The Cleanup tool should find most of these.

To get more space, you can offload some files to s cloud service, like Box or Dropbox. I archive old files and pictures in Dropbox.

Read the link on the SXS folder. Google "files which can be deleted in Windows" for other tips.

Windows is installed on drive C:.
All the internal memory of them is drive C:
I put an external SD card that he views as drive D:. I installed all the programs on it (D

It's what I used many times without any visible result.
I clean all I could to clean.Including cleaning system files and checked all.

No, this is the largest folder. And the biggest problem.

 

Yes, I think we know. You can't/shouldn't delete the recovery folder.

I read the article in post #3. That and the article I posted tells you exactly what to do to get space back from the winsxs folder. I like the second article, because it will try to keep minimizing the space needed. You can do both.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you. There are other procedures, but they have a risk of damaging your system. There is a way to delete the recovery partition, but I won't recommend it for two reasons. First, of your system becomes damaged, it may not be possible without that partition. Secondly, I am unsure of your ability to make the required changes. (The space won't magically appear on your C: drive.)

Read both articles again. Complete the steps they outline. Then get back up us.

I am writing on that computer with disk full.

It works harder so.
Thinking forced to delete some files in WinSxS. But how?

do NOT delete anything in the recovery partition

i'd be deleting any video's you have on the device, that will clean up space quick enough
