Hi I want to know if a 400w PSU will power the upgrades I want to do in the future. My specs are i5-3450 8GB DDR3 2TB Storage and a radeon 6570 all currently running on a 280w PSU. I want to upgrade to a XFX R7 360 but I need to know if a 400w PSU will power that.

Better get a 800W to 1KW & A good brand one.
Supply will run cooler
Card demands 500W minimum, XFX recommends a 650W one.

 

And choose a PSU that has the Power cable that Graphic card uses

Listen I know that it needs the 6 pin PCEI connector but I know for a fact I do not need 800 Watts to power this graphics card and my computer

I found a Solution. I will just buy a Low Profile gtx 1050 it requires very little power and does not need an external power plug from the power supply
