Yebut...Are you new here? Post #38, this Thread.
?????How did you get #12 from #32?It seems to me '#32' would be even 'quicker' (more convenient) based upon the observation that the octothorpe is assigned to Shift+3 on most keyboards? -- But then I expect I'm missing something

That's you as a youth? The avatar is me, back in my youthful days.
It was a bad day. I was in a hurry. I didn't want to pretend I was #1 at anything and I didn't want to use my real Inspector number, so I just thought of something with a vague relationship to one of my habitual passwords for non-financial sites.Yebut...
First the minute I seen your Avatar made me think of Kurt Russell back when he did "The Brain who wore Tennis Shoes" I think had he not been acting you definitely had the look.I actually had one customer refuse to let me in the house because she said I was, "too young to fix TV's".and the other techs at Sears called me, "babyface" behind my back.

That's Goldie Hawn. Half of America has been hot for her since Rowan & Martin's Laugh In back in the 1960's or 1970's.I'm a fan of Kurts work and think his wife is hot for Blonde.
I can see it. My nose is a little farther forward and I don't have a dimple in my chin, but we both seem to be from the Scandinavian area. (I'm 50% Danish.)First the minute I seen your Avatar made me think of Kurt Russell
I couldn't grow a beard if I tried.I had to grow a beard in order to work for sears
I started in the Parts Department because they thought I was lying about knowing electronics.I trained and certified on everything but TV's back then.
No...?#33 would be even easier to type. So what? Do I have to admit I made a mistake in order to satisfy you?
---Emphasis added---Most people already know I was Quality Control stamp number 32 at three different corporations, purely by coincidence, so I changed that number to the shortest, easiest to type version I could think of in 30 seconds.
Fine. I made a mistake. #12 is NOT the easiest way to type 3 characters. It's just what popped into my head that day. So what? How many times do you have to ask?No...?In order to make sense of your own post

I'm right here. My signature references Ward Cunningham's Law...Where's that old comic that says, "I can't come to bed yet, honey. Somebody is wrong on AAC."?
Cunningham's Law
Ward is credited with the idea: "The best way to get the right answer on the Internet is not to ask a question, it's to post the wrong answer."[19] This refers to the observation that people are quicker to correct a wrong answer than to answer a question.
According to Steven McGeady, Cunningham advised him in the early 1980s, "The best way to get the right answer on the Internet is not to ask a question, it's to post the wrong answer." McGeady dubbed this Cunningham's law.[20] Although Cunningham was referring to interactions on Usenet, the law has been used to describe how Wikipedia works.[21]
I think strantor taught me about that.My signature references Ward Cunningham's Law...
Fine. I made a mistake.
Who has Facebook and other social media accounts besides AAC?A mistake? You?
Oh man, I'm so unfollowing you on Facebook and every social network ...
Except here on AAC, of course...![]()
Face book ?Who has Facebook and other social media accounts besides AAC?
"well my username is cos I haven't figured out how to change it from my fb account name."Who has Facebook and other social media accounts besides AAC?
I've made so many mistakes on this site that I created my signature line as a preemptive apology.A mistake? You?
Actually, someone already came up with that idea:I've made so many mistakes on this site that I created my signature line as a preemptive apology.![]()
12 had his on here as long as I can remember - way before Prettyboy Pratt's 2015 press release.Actually, someone already came up with that idea:
That isn't my first attempt at a signature line but I can't remember whether it took me a few months or a couple of years to arrive there. Still, it was easily before 2015 by a matter of years.12 had his on here as long as I can remember
