Why not use 5A, 100kHz switching regulator output directly for induction heating?

I'm in the process of designing a circuit for a personal project's induction heater.

I want to use LT1074 for which there is a spice model included in Lt Spice install.

So, these inductor circuits you find by googling seem to have a Royer Oscillator with two transistors. Why not, since the frequency is already high enough, use the 5A max output of the LT1074?

The "supply" does not determine the current.....the supply only limits the current.

The "load" determines the amount of current.

Tell and show us what you have, what you want and how you want to do it. You gave a link to a switching regulator. Where are the two transistors? Where is your circuit? What is your power source? What is the load? What are you trying to save?
