What happen when capacitor and resistor not present ?

 

Actually, it is interesting ... Top 1/2 bridge uses 4.7R 0.5W + 0.01uF across each diode. Next 1/2 bridge below uses 1.5R 0.01uF across
the 2 diodes .. Top return diodes have no emi filtering .. all have serious LC filtering after the bridge. Weird setup.
My guess would be RFI / EMI supression, as the C value is quite low. Sure is a HECK of a busy circuit, designer must have been on speed

It's a common method to suppress needle pulses in a rectifier circuit (see EMC spec's and hints).
As Dodgydave stated.

One more possibility is that while they show on the circuit they are not present in the actual product. I see that in a lot of consumer electronic devices.
